Salon Assistant | Hair by Jessie

Hair by Jessie is seeking a reliable, professional and motivated Salon Assistant to join our growing team.

This is an entry level position suited to someone who is organised, personable, has a strong work ethic and is interested in developing their experience within the hair and beauty industry. The role is focused on supporting the smooth day to day operation of the salon and providing a high standard of client care.

Responsibilities will include salon floor support, maintaining a clean and organised environment, assisting with client services such as washing and refreshments, preparing stations and supplies, bookings and client communication, as well as assisting with social media and content.

You will receive structured training and ongoing support, with the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility as you become confident in the role. Previous salon experience is not essential; we value reliability, initiative, professionalism, communication and a willingness to learn.

The position is casual, approximately 10–15 hours per week, with shifts designed to work around school, TAFE or other commitments. Additional hours may be available during school holiday periods.
